Indications Duspatalin

Duspatalin is an effective myotropic antispasmodic, so it is recommended to use it in the following conditions:

  • the occurrence of irritable bowel syndrome and its accompanying symptoms, including pain, diarrhea, bloating, constipation;
  • diseases of the stomach and other organs of the gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by spasms;
  • inflammation of the bile ducts and malfunctions of the gallbladder (cholecystitis, cholangitis);
  • chronic pancreatitis.

Instructions for use and dosage

Duspatalin is consumed before meals (for 20 minutes), drinking about 100-150 ml of water with the medicine.

Tablets are prescribed for adult patients (from 18 years old). Dosage: 1 pc. three times a day. Capsules 200 mg drink 1 pc. twice a day.

The minimum course duration is 14 days. The drug can be used for a long time (there is no addictive effect) - a specialist will establish the timing more accurately based on the diagnosis and general condition of the body.

During pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy is indicated in the instructions as a contraindication - during this period, Duspatalin should not be taken.

No-shpa is an analogue of drotaverin that eliminates spasms (with the same features given in previous remedies). And also taking tablets is excluded in case of glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, lactase deficiency.

The medicine is not prescribed for children under 6 years of age. With reduced blood pressure, use with caution.

Side effects are manifested as:

  • headache;
  • trouble sleeping;
  • lowering blood pressure;
  • nausea;
  • constipation
  • allergic reactions.

Recommended dosage for adults: 1-2 tablets three times a day. The maximum quantity is 6 pcs. per day.

If the treatment has not been agreed with the doctor, then No-shpu take no more than 3 days.

Trimedat tablets contain trimebutin (100 or 200 mg), which affects intestinal motility and has an antispasmodic effect.

Indications for its use are various disorders of the digestive system, which are accompanied by an intestinal upset. Prescribe a medicine before diagnosing the intestines.

Contraindications: intolerance of constituent components and children's age up to 3 years. During pregnancy, while breastfeeding, the drug is not recommended.

Side effects are rare, but if they occur, then in the form of allergic reactions. The standard dosage for adults, indicated in the instructions: 100-200 mg three times a day (the daily dose may be increased if the disease is severe).

The specialist, based on the diagnosis, determines how long the course of treatment will last, and prescribes the required amount of the drug.

The active substance of Sparex capsules is mebeverine hydrochloride, therefore, the drug is used for the same indications as Duspatalin.

Medication is contraindicated in case of individual intolerance. It is not recommended to take capsules for pregnant and lactating women due to lack of information about the effect of the drug on the baby's body.

And also there is no information about the effect of the active substance on children under 12 years of age, therefore, Sparex is not prescribed for the treatment of such patients.

Patients who have low blood pressure should be treated only under the supervision of a specialist.

Side effects are rare, but if they occur, they can affect:

  • nervous system, causing dizziness, lethargy, weakness and headache;
  • digestive organs, causing nausea, flatulence, enlarged liver, stomach pain, constipation;
  • cardiovascular system, which will respond by lowering blood pressure.

Another undesirable manifestation is allergic reactions.

In case of an overdose, the following conditions are highly likely to occur:

  • vomiting
  • lowering blood pressure;
  • loss of consciousness;
  • dizziness.

The recommended dosage is indicated in the instructions: 1 capsule (30 minutes before meals) twice a day.

The pharmaceutical agent Papaverine is an antispasmodic that contains papaverine hydrochloride. In addition to the ability to relieve spasms, it has a slight analgesic effect.

It is indicated for use if the following pathologies were diagnosed in a patient:

  • renal colic;
  • spastic colitis;
  • uterine hypertonicity;
  • vasospasm in case of heart attack, stroke;
  • hepatic colic;
  • digestive spasm;
  • cholecystitis.

Papaverine should not be used if:

The drug Duspatalin effectively copes with digestive disorders, removes the feeling of discomfort, cramping, and is not addictive. But because of the high cost, this medicine is often replaced with cheaper analogues.
