Every tourist simply dreams of tasting such a noble pie and is ready to give as much as 10 euros for it, and many places have made a lot of money on this gastronomic passion. But if some shell out for dessert, others bake it at home, because the French apple pie is made from the simplest and most affordable ingredients.

Classic French Apple Tart Tartin Pie

Today you can meet other recipes for making a pie on any basis and from a wide variety of fruits. But still, you should first familiarize yourself and prepare a dessert according to the classic recipe.

Ingredients:

  • half a glass of granulated sugar;
  • a glass of flour;
  • 260 g butter;
  • two tablespoons of water;
  • 55 ml of lemon juice;
  • five apples;
  • a pinch of cinnamon.

Cooking method:

  1. For the test you need to take 100 g of cold oil and grind it into crumbs. Stir with flour and add water. Substitute the dough, wrap it with cling film and refrigerate for one hour.
  2. Put the remaining butter in the stewpan, add cinnamon and 60 g of sugar. Boil the mass over low heat, then transfer to a heat-resistant baking dish and put on fire.
  3. Cut the peeled apples into slices, sprinkle them with citrus juice and spread on top of the creamy mass. Sprinkle all with sweet sand and sweat apples for 15 minutes.
  4. Roll the “sand” lump into cake and cover it with the cooled filling. Place the workpiece in the oven for half an hour (temperature 190 ° C)

Sometimes ridiculous accidents in cooking can give rise to new recipes.That is how the French pie “Tarte Taten” appeared, which was named after one of the sisters with the surname Tatin.

Ingredients:

  • 170 g of flour;
  • 160 g of sweet sugar;
  • 120 g ghee;

  • 320 g of finished dough;
  • half a glass of white sugar;
  • three tsplemon juice plus one tsp zest;
  • apples.

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare caramel, to do this, melt the sugar in a pan, adding two tablespoons of water.
  2. Sprinkle caramel with lemon zest, put slices of apples and sprinkle them with lemon juice. Do not remove from heat for 15 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a layer with a diameter slightly larger than the size of the pan, make punctures and close the filling, tucking the sides.
  4. Bake dessert until cooked at 200 ° C. Turn the slightly cooled cake over.

Quiche

It is difficult to argue that French confectioners are real virtuosos of their craft, because their desserts amaze with their tastes and aromas. One such culinary masterpiece is quiche apple pie.

Ingredients:

  • 230 g butter;
  • 320 g flour;
  • 320 ml of milk;
  • two tsp vanilla sugar;

  • 430 ml of water;
  • two eggs;
  • a glass of white sugar;
  • apples.

Cooking method:

  1. For cream, mix 60 g of flour with 80 g of regular sugar and vanilla sugar, as well as one egg.
  2. In a saucepan, heat raw milk and add a sweet egg mixture. Cook the composition until thickened.
  3. In an almost ready-made cream, put 110 g of melted butter and stir until smooth.
  4. Mix the remaining butter with powdered sugar, egg, a spoonful of water and flour. Knead the dough.
  5. Close the bottom of the mold with rolled dough, make high sides of it and put the base in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  6. Now cover the chilled dough with parchment, on which pour a glass of peas. Bake the base for the cake for 15 minutes (temperature 180 ° C).
  7. Pour water into the stewpan, dilute six tablespoons of sugar in it, boil the composition and dip the apple slices into it. Cook the fruits in sweet syrup for five minutes.
  8. Remove the base from the oven, remove the pea paper and send the pastries back to the oven for ten minutes.
  9. Once the base is completely ready, cool it, pour in the cream and lay apple slices on top of it. You don’t need to bake the cake anymore, just put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Taten apple pie can be baked not only with apples, but also with other fruits, and even pumpkin.

But if you decide to give preference to apples, then choose hard varieties, for example, Antonovka. Do not be afraid that such a variety is very sour, because in combination with caramel you get a pleasant sweet and sour taste that perfectly complements the finished baking.
