Unlucky graffiti lovers often spoil the look of city streets with their creations. Not everyone can make out what these inscriptions mean; and not every drawing is beautiful in principle. In addition, graffiti is almost always illegal.

French artist's project

The French artist was puzzled by this problem. Matthew Tremblin It transforms rambling (and illegal) graffiti into legible and legible inscriptions. For this transformation, the artist uses special stencils. New inscriptions are made in accordance with the previously applied. They almost completely repeat their unprepossessing predecessors.

The benefits of Martin

“It seems to me that graffiti art is akin to using tags and key queries on the Internet,” says Matthew himself. “Just like these words are used to navigate the web, graffiti is a reflection of what is important for the city dweller. ”

The artist also emphasizes that his occupation allows you to make graffiti itself more visible. “The inscriptions that young people make spontaneously are often very ugly. My project aims to transform them and make them visible. A little effort and the use of stencils make it possible to turn these invisible graffiti into noticeable, vivid inscriptions. ”

Well, we will enjoy the gallery of street works of the talented Matthew Tremblin.
