Puff pastry baklava


This recipe for baklava from puff pastry is quite simple, and even young, inexperienced housewives can even cope with it, because for making dessert you can take ready-made dough from the store.

Will be needed:

• 500 g of puff pastry;
• 1.5 tbsp. walnuts;
• 150 g of sugar;
• 150 g of honey;
• 100 g of oil;
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 yolk;
• 80 ml of water.

Step by step cooking:

1. Defrost the dough, leave the butter to soften. It should become like sour cream.
2. Grind nuts to a fine crumb, mix with sugar and cinnamon. Oven turn on 190 degrees.
3. Roll the puff pastry thinly, divide each sheet into two halves. It should turn out 4 layers. Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out the dough as thinly as possible. Fold each layer 4 times and roll out again as thin as possible. So puff pastry will not swell in the oven.
4. Baked baklava in the forms. You can take a high baking sheet, which is generously greased with oil. At the bottom of the pan lay a thin layer. Trim all unnecessary.
5. Thinly grease the dough laid on a baking sheet. You can do this with a brush.
6. On top of the oil, a layer of dough is sprinkled with nuts and sugar.
7. Now repeat the whole procedure again, laying the second layer, and then the third, etc. In conclusion, the dough is cut with a sharp knife with diamonds directly on the baking sheet.
8.Baklava is baked for 30 minutes. While it will be baking, you can manage to make honey filling.
9. Pour water into the pan, add sugar, put the syrup on the fire and boil for 7 minutes. After that honey is added. The filling is cooked for another 5 minutes.
10. During this time, the sweetness is baked. Get it, cut the rhombuses so that they do not stick together, and pour hot fill. The dough is soaked, and when it is completely cooled baklava can be served.

Cooking in Turkish

Try to cook at home a traditional Turkish baklava according to an old recipe.

Will be needed:

• 500 g puff pastry;
• 350 g of walnuts;
• 350 g of oil;
• 1.5 tsp cinnamon
• 250 g of honey;
• 150 ml of water;
• halves of walnuts;
• 1 egg.

Step by step cooking:

1. Thaw the puff pastry and divide into four parts.
2. Roll each part to a thinner layer. Then fold the layers in half and roll out again thinly.
3. Thinly rolled formation again divided into four parts and rolled out as finely as possible. The result should be four layers.
4. Chop the nuts very finely, mix with sugar and add sweet seasonings.
5. Lubricate the baking sheet with plenty of oil, lay the first layer on the bottom. Shifting a thin layer is easiest with a rolling pin.
6. Coat the laid dough with melted butter and sprinkle generously with nut filling.
7. On top of the first layer, lay the second, again grease and sprinkle. Continue on until the dough leaves. It is not necessary to sprinkle the last layer.
8. Pinch the edges of the baklava and leave for 20 minutes.
9. Now smear the surface of the dessert with beaten yolk, and cut the baklava with a very sharp knife into portions. For each serving, put half a nut on top.
10. Bake dessert at 200 degrees. After 10 minutes, remove, pour honey mixed with water.
11. After 20 minutes, take the treat out of the oven and let it cool.

Armenian dessert recipe


This recipe for Armenian baklava cannot be called ancient, but at least our grandmothers have already prepared it. The recipe is quite simple.

Will be needed:

Dough
• 2 tbsp. flour;
• 180 g of oil;
• 1 tbsp. sour cream;
• 1 tsp soda.
Filling
• 2 tbsp. walnuts;
• 100 g sugar;
• 1 egg;
• 100 g of honey;
• 100 g of almonds.

Step by step cooking:

1. Be sure to sift the flour, grate the cooled oil into it. With a knife, make crumbs in a bowl.
2. Salt with sour cream, add cooked chips and knead. If necessary, add flour.
3. Put the dough in a bag and send it to the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
4. To prepare the filling, chop the nuts, fry in the oven or in a dry pan.
5. Then mix the nuts with sugar and protein until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
6. The dough is divided into three parts. The filling is divided into two parts.
7. Roll out one part very thinly, transfer to a greased baking sheet. It is convenient to do this with a rolling pin.
8. Put half the filling on top of the dough. Then cover with another thinly rolled dough sheet. Now again the filling and again the dough.
9. Top grease with yolk.
10. Warm the oven to 180 degrees, send the sweetness for 7 minutes.
11. After about 7 minutes, take out the slightly baked baklava, cut into diamonds with a knife, and stick a nut in each rhombus. Pour dessert over the cuts with honey. Put in the oven again.
12. When browned, remove from the oven, put the diamonds on the dish.

Azerbaijani baklava

Azerbaijani baklava also takes quite a while to cook, but the result is worth it - the dessert is very tasty.

Will be needed:

• 300 g of sugar in the filling;
• 600 g of sugar in syrup;
• 350 g of walnuts;
• 150 g of oil;
• 2 eggs;
• 1 yolk;
• 500 ml of milk;
• 1.5 tsp saffron;
• 1 tsp cardamom;
• 2 tsp dry yeast;
• salt.

Step by step cooking:

1. Soften the butter and stir with flour. It is necessary to take 100 g of oil, drive 2 eggs.
2. Yeast pour 4 tbsp. l milk, then add saffron, add the rest of the milk.
3. Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for three hours.
4. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. To do this, fry the peeled nuts in the oven for 10 minutes. To grind.
5. Add 300 g of sugar and cardamom to the nuts, mix everything thoroughly.
6. When the dough rises, divide into 10 parts, with 2 parts to make a little more than the rest. They will be the first and last layer in baklava.
7. Roll out the dough on flour very thinly, put the first layer in a high baking sheet, smeared with vegetable oil.
8. On top of the dough, distribute a little filling, cover again with a layer of dough. Continue this way until the whole mass is used. Do not lubricate the upper layer with the filling.
9. Blind the edges of the first and last layers so that the filling is not visible.
10. Beat the yolk with 1/5 tsp. saffron and smear the upper layer.
11. Bake at 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
12. After 10 minutes, get the dessert and cut into equal small rhombuses. Decorate each with a nut.
13. Melt 50 g of butter, grease the dessert and put it back into the oven, bake at 160 degrees an hour.
14. Meanwhile, boil the syrup. To do this, dissolve 600 g of sugar in 2 cups of water and boil until thickened.
15. Pour the finished dessert on top with syrup and put in the cooling oven for an hour. Baklava Azerbaijan is ready!

With walnuts and honey


There is one not too laborious recipe for baklava with walnuts and honey. With a little effort, you can easily cook this delicious dessert.

Will be needed:

• 700 g of puff pastry;
• 300 g of walnuts;
• 90 g of oil;
• 100 ml of water;
• ¼ Art. honey;
• 170 g of sugar;
• cinnamon.

• 450 g filo dough;
• 180 g of oil;
• 1 tbsp. walnuts.

For syrup:

• 1 sec. honey;
• 0.5 tbsp. Sahara;
• 0.2 tbsp. water.
The more butter you add, the tastier the dessert will be. Walnuts can also be added to your liking.

Step by step cooking:

1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with high sides.
2. Melt the butter and chop the nuts. Open the dough.
3. So that the dough does not dry so quickly, it is better to cover it with a wet towel. First, take one layer.
4. Lay the first layer of dough on the bottom of the smeared form. Lubricate with oil. Put another layer on top.
5. Lubricate the second layer and sprinkle it densely with nuts. Cover with a layer and coat with oil.
6. This should be done until the dough is over. Now, with a sharp knife, cut the baklava into portions. Traditionally, these are rhombuses. Dessert to put baking.
7. To prepare syrup in a saucepan, boil water, honey and sugar. It is usually enough to boil the syrup for about 5 minutes.
8. Now get the dessert out of the oven. And baking it will take about half an hour, and pour hot syrup on it. When the baklava has cooled, put in the refrigerator for 10 hours.

Baku baklava


Baklava baklava is prepared quite simply, but it takes time.

Will be needed:

Dough:
• 5 tbsp. flour;
• 1 tsp Sahara;
• 0.5 tsp salts;
• 2 eggs;
• 100 g of oil;
• 200 ml of milk;
• 0.5 tsp yeast
• 1 tsp saffron;
• 100 ml of boiling water.
Filling:
• 350 g of walnuts;
• 350 g of sugar;
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/3 teaspoon cardamom;
• 1/3 teaspoon nutmeg.
Additionally:
• 250 g of oil;
• 1 yolk;
• beautiful halves of nuts.
Syrup:
• 2 tbsp. water;
• 2 tbsp. Sahara.

Cooking step by step:

1. Start cooking by kneading the dough. To do this, pour saffron with boiling water so that it is brewed. Cool.
2. Heat the milk and dilute the yeast in it. Melt the butter.
3. Take 3.5 tbsp. flour, add sugar, salt, beaten eggs and pour oil into it.
4. Knead the dough. Pour half the saffron into the milk with yeast (approximately 50 ml) and pour the mixture into the dough. Mix. The dough should be viscous.
5. Add flour and knead the dough. The main thing is that the dough does not become clogged! Leave to approach for an hour and a half.
6. Now you can do the filling. Grind and mix the nuts with sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and cardamom.
7. The dough is divided into 12 parts. Two parts should be slightly larger.
8. Lubricate the mold, roll out a larger piece, lay on the bottom, grease with butter. Turn on the oven 180 degrees.
9. Sprinkle the first layer in the form with nuts, roll the second layer thinly and lay on top. Lubricate again and sprinkle with filling. Continue on until the dough comes out.
10. Smear the top layer of baklava with whipped yolk. Beat the yolk with the second half of saffron. Put dessert for 7 minutes in the oven.
11. After 7 minutes, remove and carefully cut into portions. On each rhombus put half a nut.
12. Fill with melted butter and send the dessert to the oven. It usually takes about 40-50 minutes to bake.
13. 15 minutes before the end of baking, prepare sugar syrup. To do this, dissolve sugar in water and boil for 5 minutes.
14. Pour dessert syrup and put in the oven again for 3 minutes. Get dessert and leave to cool.

How to cook in a slow cooker

You can quickly cook baklava in a slow cooker from ready-made puff pastry.

Will be needed:

• 500 g puff yeast dough;
• 200 g of walnuts;
• 100 g sugar;
• 2 tbsp. l oils;
• 1 tbsp. l honey;
• cinnamon.

Step by step cooking:

1. Pass the nuts through a meat grinder, combine with sugar and cinnamon.
2. Dissolve the butter.
3. Defrost the dough and divide two finished layers in half. You should get four equal parts.
4. Prepare syrup from sugar and add honey to it.
5. Roll the dough thinly. Under the bowl of the multicooker, cut off the excess edges.
6. From the scraps again roll out the 5th layer of dough and cut it again.
7. Bowl crock-pot cut out on parchment paper circle. Place the paper on the bottom of the bowl, grease with oil and put the first layer of dough.
8. Lubricate the dough layer with butter and put 3 tbsp. l toppings. Cover the dough, grease it again and lay out the filling again. So lay out all 5 layers of dough. It is not necessary to lubricate the last layer with oil and filling.
9. Directly in the bowl of the multicooker, cut the baklava into cubes. Top with sprinkled cinnamon.

• 250 g of pistachios;

To prepare the syrup, mix 150 ml of water and 130 g of sugar, put on fire, and, stirring all the time, boil for three to four minutes. Sugar must dissolve completely.
Then add ¼ st. honey, 1 tbsp. l lemon juice and boil a couple of minutes.

Cooking step by step:

1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Cook the nut filling. For this chop the pistachios and almonds. Add cinnamon.
3. Separately, dissolve the butter, add vanilla and salt to it, mix.
4. In a baking sheet with high sides, previously coated with oil, put the first layer of dough and grease it with oil, sprinkle with filling. Then lay the second layer, grease, sprinkle. Continue on until the dough ends.It is not necessary to lubricate and sprinkle the last layer.
5. Send cooked baklava to the oven for 40 minutes.
6. Get the dessert, cut into small diamonds, pour in the syrup and let cool. The dessert should stand for about 12 hours to soak well.
