Cooking process:

  1. Grind crackers in a blender into small crumbs, or take ready-made sweet breadcrumbs.
  2. In a bulk container we combine sugar and cocoa powder. We leave a little cocoa for the final potato decor.
  3. Add milk and mix thoroughly with a whisk until a completely homogeneous consistency.
  4. Add melted butter to the mixture. We put the container on gas and, constantly stirring, bring to a boil.
  5. Mix crushed crackers and cocoa. This is done so that the crackers evenly mixed with cocoa.
  6. Mix the cooled liquid and crackers and knead until smooth.
  7. We form sausages and balls from the resulting dough and roll them into cocoa.

To prevent the potatoes from falling apart, it is recommended to leave sweets in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. During this time, the cakes are saturated, and will keep their shape well.

From breadcrumbs with condensed milk

The easiest chocolate potato recipe.

We will need:

  • Bread crumbs -230 gr.;
  • Condensed milk - 150 gr.;
  • Liquor or brandy (if you prefer, you can not add it at all) - a few teaspoons;
  • Butter 110 gr;
  • Cocoa (in powder) - 2 tbsp.

Step-by-step cooking process:

  1. Thoroughly grind cookies or crackers in any way possible.Hammer until a uniform fine crumb is formed.
  2. Butter must first be melted.There are several ways to fill oil. The microwave will be easiest, you can also use a water bath or just leave the oil in a very warm place.
  3. In the crushed mass, add cocoa and condensed milk, mix. Add melted butter and alcohol to the future test. Knead a thick dough.
  4. From the finished product with our hands we form small balls.
  5. You can decorate or add zest to potatoes, for example, roll them in chopped walnuts or coconut. If there is nothing like this, you can return to crushed breadcrumbs, and roll sweets in crumbs.

A huge plus is that the cake does not need further processing. Sweetness is ready to eat right away.

With nuts

Fragrant and unusual recipe for a potato cake.

For cooking you will need:

  • Hazelnuts (or any other nuts optional) -200 gr.;
  • A glass of milk;
  • Packet of butter;
  • Biscuit cookies (purchased or homemade) -0.5 kg;
  • Cocoa powder - a few tablespoons;
  • Powdered sugar - similarly.

Cooking process:

  1. Grind nuts and cookies in a convenient way, a blender would be the best option.
  2. Mix the powder and cocoa powder. Add milk and ghee to this mixture. Stir with a whisk and leave to cool to room temperature.
  3. After cooling, add the chopped ingredients and knead by hand until completely homogeneous.
  4. We form balls from the dough (preferably the same in size). Sprinkle them with powdered and chopped nuts.
  5. Leave in the refrigerator for half an hour. Before use, it is recommended to get the "Potato" out of the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

With chocolate

If the classic recipe from breadcrumbs no longer gives great joy to loved ones, then you can surprise them with an unusually tasty and complex recipe for "potato" with chocolate icing.

To do this, you will need:

  • Dark chocolate -200g .;
  • Dry cream -80g .;
  • Liquid cream (fatty) - 4 tbsp;
  • Sugar powder -100g .;
  • Egg - 6pcs.;
  • Wheat flour (premium) -290 gr.

Cooking process:

  1. First you need to cook a biscuit. Separate the yolks from the eggs from the proteins. Beat the yolk and a half sugar until bubbles appear and lighten the mass.
  2. Beat the whisk manually with a whisk (longer) or with a mixer until elastic peaks form.
  3. Next, add sugar to the proteins and continue whisking until the mixture becomes smooth and shiny.
  4. Carefully pour the proteins into the yolk. Mix with a silicone spatula from bottom to top. As if interfering with the yolk in the protein.
  5. Sift the flour through a sieve and add to the mixture.
  6. We spread the resulting dough into a mold previously sprinkled with flour and greased with melted butter.
  7. Bake the cake at 220 degrees for about 17 minutes.
  8. Now grind the resulting cake to crumbs. A blender is good for this.
  9. It remains the case for the cream. Mix sugar and cream in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves. Beat butter with a mixer and add the mixture warmed up in a pan to it. Beat well again.
  10. Cream is added to the biscuit crumbs, we interfere. From sweet "stuffing" we make cakes.
  11. We make the icing. Heat the cream on the stove, but do not bring to a boil. Then add the chocolate and mix until it dissolves. Let the icing cool down a bit to make it thicker. Sprinkle potatoes with icing.

Such a “potato” will be even tastier if you eat it with milk.

With boiled condensed milk

The taste that is familiar to every child is the “Potato” cake with condensed milk.

For this time-consuming, but tasty recipe you will need:

  • Sponge cake - 400g .;
  • Boiled condensed milk - 1 can;
  • Vanilla Sugar - (6-8g.);
  • Butter - 50g .;
  • Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp;
  • Dried fruits (raisins, nuts, dried apricots).

Cooking process:

  1. Nuts (if any) are best smashed by hand so that they are not too small.Raisins (if any) must be left in boiled water for 5-7 minutes. Then drain the water.
  2. We drive the store’s liver through a meat grinder. Add sugar and prepared dried fruits to it.
  3. For cream, you need to mix condensed milk and butter (slightly melted).
  4. We combine the cream and the dry mixture. Knead very carefully.
  5. We form small koloboks and send them to cool in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

The taste of the Potato cake depends very much on the variety and quality of the cookies or crackers from which it is made. The best option would be a homemade biscuit.

From vanilla rusks

This cake recipe is very different from the others in taste and in ingredients. "Potato" is more loose and airy.

For this recipe you will need:

  • Butter vanilla crackers - 300g .;
  • Milk - 120ml.;
  • Butter - 80g .;
  • Icing sugar (for final decoration);
  • White sugar -120ml .;
  • Cocoa powder - 0.5 tbsp .;
  • Liquor, cognac (for adults) -3-4 tbsp.

Cooking process:

  1. Grind crackers through a meat grinder or on a blender.
  2. Add two parts of sugar to milk and boil so that the sugar dissolves. Combine the cocoa with the remaining sugar and add to the boiling milk.
  3. Remove the container from the fire and add oil (at this temperature it does not need to be pre-melted), we interfere.
  4. Pour the resulting mixture into breadcrumbs as soon as the butter has melted. The liquid mixture should still be hot.
  5. Mix the resulting dough well and let cool.
  6. We make potatoes and sprinkle them with vanilla powder.
  7. Leave the "Potato" to cool in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

Such a recipe does not require a lot of time, which cannot please any housewife.
