Comparative characteristics with Ursofalk and Greenterol

Before starting treatment, patients often ask themselves what to choose, Greenterol or Ursosan. Both medicines are related to the group of hepatoprotectors. They have a choleretic effect. They contain the same component that has an active effect on the body - ursodeoxycholic acid. Medicines are created in capsule form. One capsule contains 250 mg of the active substance.

Medicine has not conducted a comparative study of these drugs. But there is evidence that 60% of patients taking Greenterol were cured of the initial stage of formation of liver stones by taking the medicine for 2 months. Collecting analyzes in patients with the initial stage of gallstone disease, it was found that 85% got rid of microliths, taking Ursosan for 3 months.

Important! The appointment of an analogue of Ursosan should only be done by a doctor after assessing the condition of the patient, the type of microliths, and the degree of the disease. Since each drug has individual side effects, contraindications.

When it is necessary to evaluate which is better, Ursosan or Ursofalk, then you should get patient feedback, the results of clinical data. Patients typically experience better tolerance of Ursofalk. It has fewer side effects. Doctors note that under the influence of Ursofalk, gallstones dissolve more quickly and the functioning of the liver normalizes.

But we must not forget about the individual characteristics of the body. Not all people tolerate Ursofalk equally well. There are patients for whom Ursosan will be preferable. You can choose the optimal drug only after passing a course of treatment with one, and then a second medication. And then compare the results in a laboratory way, and guided by their own feelings.

Ursosan is a single drug whose active substance has an antioxidant effect, helps to eliminate stones. The drug is prescribed for both the adult and children's population.
