  • Cimetidine

  • means with St. John's wort in the composition.

Pregnancy and lactation

"Vizanne" is not prescribed for pregnant women, since during this period there is no need to treat endometriosis.

Appointment in the lactation period is contraindicated, since the drug together with breast milk can enter the body of the baby. If a woman urgently needs to be treated with Vizannaya, it is better to transfer the child to artificial nutrition.

special instructions

The official manual says that "Vizanne" does not affect psychomotor reactions and the ability to concentrate.

When treating the drug under discussion, it is forbidden to drink OK.

Before the start of therapy for endometriosis, conception should be excluded, since this disease is not treated during pregnancy.

When using medications, you must definitely inform your doctor about this before starting treatment with Vizannaya.

Menstruation after completion of treatment begins within a few months. This phenomenon is quite normal, because during this time the body recovers from the hormonal effects of the drug.

Vizanne and alcohol are compatible. During treatment, dry wine (150 ml) and fortified (70 ml) are allowed.

Analogs

This medication does not have full analogues in the active component. But on the pharmaceutical market there are combined products containing 2 mg of dienogest. These drugs are oral contraceptives, the main task of which is to suppress ovulation to prevent conception.

If Vizanna is often prescribed for endometriosis, then OK is not specifically used against this disease. But if for some reason a woman cannot take the drug in question, she is picked up an analogue from the OK list. One of the main differences between these medicines is the specificity of the reception. "Vizanne" needs to drink courses, OK - constantly. It should also be borne in mind that estrogens are present in the composition of the latter, so it is difficult to predict how they will affect endometriosis.

The same estrogens as part of combined medications can provoke serious negative reactions that are not characteristic of Vizanne. Long-term use of OK can be accompanied by thrombosis and metabolic disorders. Therefore, the pharmaceuticals of this group have more contraindications.

Analogs for the active substance:

  • Bonade. Product of the Czech pharmaceutical company Zentiva. The average cost of a monthly course of treatment is 520 rubles.
  • "Janine." German company Bayer. A 21-day course will cost 950 rubles.
  • "Dicyclylene". The drug is available in the Netherlands and Spain. The price of pack No. 21 is 600 rubles.
  • "Genetten." German drug with a composition similar to the above medicines. It rarely appears in our pharmacies.
  • "Siluet." Hungarian medicine from Gedeon Richter. For packaging number 21, you can pay more than 620 rubles.
  • "Climodien." This German OK contains 2 mg of estradiol valerate. Packaging number 28 will cost more than 3500 rubles.
  • Klaira. Another German remedy, similar in composition to climodiene. For a monthly course of treatment you will have to pay more than 900 rubles.

In addition to the combined OK, "Vizanne" can be replaced:

  • Mirena;
  • "Veraplex";
  • Megeys;
  • Norkolutom;
  • Dufaston.

To get a good result, you need to take gestagens for a long time. As a rule, the dosages of drugs are very high, so you need to strictly monitor your health and, in the slightest development of side effects, immediately seek medical help.

To date, "Vizanne" is considered the only medication that helps cure endometriosis. There is no identical analogue of this drug yet. The relatively high price of the drug is fully offset by its therapeutic effect.
